How to do: |
This form gives you the freedom of setting the individual parameters necessary for the creation of the Structure Reference and Hull Structure Object. Although there in most of the cases there is a link between the values in the fields of the form, the values themselves are not logically related in respect to the information entry. The form works as a view to the hull reference object: in order to view the information for existing object you must key in the name of the object in the corresponding field ("Name of the hull reference object") and press "Extract Data from DB". If a hull reference object with this name is found, the field will be filled in with the values extracted from the DB. You may choose to change the name of the object and any of the values in the fields and press "Create Object" thus creating an new object. Or just change the values and overwrite the existing object (modifying it). The "Additional Surfaces..." button activates a dialog (insert picture) which can be used as an interface to the surface descriptions in the hull reference object. |

None. |

Result: |
When you press the "Create Object" button, the interface will call the proper procedure for creating the object. In all cases the result from "Create Object" will be a dialog informing you of success or possible errors and conflicts. When you press "Extract Data from DB" the dialog will not warn the user for loosing changed information and any such will be lost during the extraction process. |
