Major Tasks

The purpose of this chapter is to describe how AVEVA Initial Design Calc handles a number of key analysis and evaluation activities, called tasks, to which Naval Architects would normally wish to apply the capabilities of Calc. A task often requires data input from various parts of the whole system, including the results of calculations made in other tasks, and some of this data is common input to more than one task.
