Section offsets can also be output in HFD, BRITFAIR and IGES formats to suit other AVEVA Marine programs, and plot files. The following outputs can also be requested:

  • Section Area curves to a specified Waterline

  • Hydrostatics that means, volume, LCB and form properties of a ship

  • Transposed Sections that means, new section positions after modification of the Section Area Curve.

  • Directories of sets of curves that means, Buttocks, Waterlines

  • Curve data that means, coordinates and B-spline definitions of any curves

  • Girths of any stored curves.

  • Loftbook showing directories and user selected crossing points.

Facilities are provided to alter the scale, position and transform and window views prior to plotting, using the Define Plot command.

Facilities exist to transfer the Lines surface definition, within a specified tolerance, to a Bi-cubic B-spline or NURBS surface definition.

This NURBS definition can then be output in IGES entity 128 format to any other systems which support this interface, or used directly with Surface and Hull.
