Default Pipe Specification

All the piping specifications available in the Catalogue are shown in the Default Specification window and therefore all the piping components available to you from the Catalogue are determined by the currently selected default pipe specification.
To avoid having to specify the specification again for each component, the Default Pipe Specification can be set at Pipe or Branch level which will be used automatically at lower levels unless it is changed (the default pipe specification is said to be cascaded down the hierarchy).
Click Set Default Pipe Specification from the Pipework Toolbar to display Default Specifications.

You can choose from the list of default specifications, along with the insulation and tracing specifications.
