Getting Started

In order to open Calc, double click the mouse on the Calc icon in the Initial Design group. This will bring up the basic Windows menus of FILE, EDIT, VIEW and HELP, together with the Calc icons. The Window menu TREE and some of the icons will be greyed out at this stage and therefore unavailable. However the NEW and OPEN icons are available. On opening an existing design or creating a new one, the remaining Windows menu item, TREE, various sub-menus and all other Calc icons are then enabled.
