Manual reorganization involves selecting patches from the patch list and moving them to another position in the list.

Firstly, the patches to be moved are selected by picking them from the list in the usual way. The selection can be extended by using the Control and Shift keys in conjunction with the Left Mouse button. The selection can be moved in one of 3 ways:

  • Record the selection by clicking the Select button. Pick another patch from the patch list and click the Move button. The selected patches will be moved into a position immediately following the picked patch. The Select and Move buttons are also available on a convenience menu which is displayed by clicking the Right Mouse button over the patch list.

  • Pick the Move Up button, , to move the selection up one place in the list, or click the Move Down button, , to move the selection down one place in the list.

  • Drag the selection to a new position in the list. To do this click and hold down the Left Mouse button over the selected patches and move the mouse up or down the list. An insertion bar will show where the selected patches will be moved to if the mouse button in released.
