Activated by clicking the Surface Patches icon (
.) The Surface Patches dialog contains a number of tabs for the various functions.
By default the following pages are visible:
• Display (see Display Tab - Surface Patches Dialog)
• Check (see Check Tab)
• Output (see Output Tab)
• Offset (see Offset Tab)
These provide functions available for patches created by the Patch and Curve Editor (PACE). If the Manual Patches option is set (by selecting OPTIONS \ MANUAL PATCHES from the pulldown menu). Then the following pages will also be available:
• Generate (see Generate Tab)
• Regenerate (see Regenerate Tab
• Type (see Type Tab)
• Fit (see Fit Tab)
• Order (see Order Tab)
• Continuity (see Continuity Tab)
These extra pages provide facilities to generate and manipulate manual patches.
Most tabs contain a list of existing patches.

The patch data form is an indication of whether the patch data is flat or not before any continuity is set.
The Fitted column indicates whether a patch is fitted or not.
The Curves column indicates which curves were used to create the patch data for fitting (S=Sections, W=Waterlines, B=Buttocks).
By clicking the Right Mouse button over a list, a convenience menu is displayed. This provides facilities for displaying the currently selected patches (either fitted, unfitted or limits) or for interactively selecting patches from a graphics window.
