Modify Ceiling Grid Detail

Selecting the required Ceiling in the grid control at the top of the Main Ceiling Grid Tasks window (refer to Create Ceiling Grid) and then selecting Modify > Grid Detail, displays the Ceiling Grid Detail window
The Ceiling Grid Detail window allows the user to set the Tile criteria to create the Tiles and set the Lattice Design to create a Lattice Profile.

Tile Criteria |

X Length |
Enter an X length for the Tile. |

Y Length |
Enter a Y length for the Tile. |
|
Specification |
Populated when a Tile specification is selected from the Choose Ceiling Tiles window. |

Select Tile Specification |
Displays the Choose Ceiling Tiles window allowing the user to select a Tile Specification. |
|
Create Tiles |
Actions the creation of the Tiles which are shown in the 3D View. |

Lattice Design |

Lattice Cross |
Selecting the Magnifying Glass icon on the right-hand side of the box displays the Select Lattice Profiles window, in which the user can select a Profile Specification and set a Justification Rule for P-Line. The box is populated with the selected specification. |

Lattice Edge |
Selecting the Magnifying Glass icon on the right-hand side of the box displays the Select Lattice Profiles window, in which the user can select a Profile Specification and set a Justification Rule for P-Line. The box is populated with the selected specification. |

Std. Length |
Enter a standard length for the profile being created within the Ceiling Grid. An integer value is required; otherwise the profiles will be created at the default length of 2000. |

X Lines |
Select checkbox to create profiles along all of the X Lines in the Ceiling Grid. |

Y Lines |
Select checkbox to create profiles along all of the Y Lines in the Ceiling Grid. |
|
Boundary |
Select checkbox to create profiles around the outer (and inner) boundaries of the Grid. |
|
Create Lattice |
Actions the creation of the Lattice Profile in the defined directions. |

Back to main grid tasks |
Displays the Main Ceiling Grid Tasks window. |

Return to main tasks |
Displays the Main Detailing Tasks window. |
