Sectional Area Curves and Bonjeans

In order to produce sectional area curves and Bonjean data, you can select the Form Calculations-Sectional Area Curves icon and ensure that all input data is complete and current. Sectional areas curves and Bonjeans are calculated for the MAINHULL (including appendages, if defined), for a range of moulded drafts and for a specific trim and heel condition. The sectional area curves are presented in graphical form with a separate graph produced for each trim angle. There is no limit on the number of curves, each depicting a different draft, that can be on a graph. Bonjeans are output at all the MAINHULL stations and presented in tabular form.

You may only calculate the section area curves for an individual compartment or for a contiguous group of compartments, (which may be beneficial in the checking of internal definitions), if the input hull geometry FCT model is itself limited to such.
