Laser Model Interface

The Laser Model Interface (LMI) is a separately licensed module for the AVEVA Plant and AVEVA Marine products. Used in conjunction with a supported Laser Model server application, it allows:

• the display of Laser Models within Marine/Design, combined with normal Marine/Design geometry

• clashing calculations between Laser Models and Marine/Design geometry, and display of the resulting clashing regions

• the picking of points within Laser Models, and creating "tie-in" points between Laser Models and geometry

• the implementation of third party defined extended functionality.
