Container Loading Dialog - Container Bay Definition Sheet.
This dialog allows you to Add, Delete and Edit... any number of Container Bays, simply by clicking the Associated buttons, and gives a summary of all Bays that have been created. You can also select the Container Types... button to view a list of available containers.
To Copy an existing Bay simply highlight that bay, and click Add.
The bay's location is defined by entering values of X and Z, the longitudinal and vertical distances respectively, of the bottom aft corner of the bay (measured relative to the vessel's origin in metres or feet).
The maximum extents of the bay, in a vertical and transverse sense, are defined by entering integer values in the Number of Tiers and the Max number of Rows entry fields. These two entries size the spreadsheets in the Vertical Distance and Transverse Distance tabs of the bay edit dialog, where each cell represents a container slot.
It is to be noted that if a bay is being used in a bay set, then the Number of Tiers, and Max number of Rows entry fields will not allow editing (i.e. greyed out). This is because weights have been allocated to these container slot locations and altering the bay definition will result in a mismatch of stored array data, i.e. the number of weights does not equal the number of bay slots. To be able to edit the bay definition, the bay must be unselected from all bay sets in which it is used.
Note:
Bays are sorted according to distance from the origin (AP) in the list.
