where qualifier is a word or a name that specifies a Design element.

The ship reference format (POSFOR SHIP) is handled in a special way. If the WRT qualifier indicates a particular grid system, the position will be determined with respect to its origin, taking into account also its orientation. If this qualifier is neither a grid system, nor a world, the XYZ output format is chosen instead.
