Butt Welding Bevel Types, General

The bevels for butt welding are always fixed, that means, they have the same cross section along the whole welding trace. Parts with butt bevels keep their general characteristics. However, their nominal geometry will be modified for the bevel gap (if any).

The butt bevel types have all variants as described above. However, not all of them are relevant for all bevel types.
