Concept Description

Standard materials are non-project specific items such as pipe, pipe fittings, elbows, flanges and so on. Standard materials managed in AVEVA ERM are also defined in the component catalogue of AVEVA Marine in order to be used in the design process.

Some features of standard materials are needed both in the design process of AVEVA Marine and in the resource management process of AVEVA ERM. The catalogue integration shares the standard material information between AVEVA ERM and AVEVA Marine.
