Disconnect

You can disconnect the selected or newly created cable from the Modify Cable window.

  1. To disconnect the cable from its starting or finishing point, select Disconnect from either the Start or End part of the Modify Cable window to detach the cable from its starting or finishing point.

  2. Select Apply Changes to modify the selected cable or Back to Create Cable to discard any changes and return to the Create Cable window.

    The Tasks area of the Modify Cable window also allows you to route the cable automatically via the shortest route or by means of defined points as selected. It can also be used to un-route or delete a cable.

    Auto Routing Options

    Automatically routes a cable via the shortest route. See Automatic Routing.

    Define Route

    Displays the Route Cable window for defining the route by picking cableway branch entry and exit points. See Define Route.

    Manual Route Cable

    Displays the Manual Route Cable window for manually creating or modifying the route of the cable. See Manual Route Cable.

    Free Route Cable

    Routes a cable between two points picked in the 3D view picked by the user. See Free Route Cable.

    Define Route through PRPs

    Displays the Route Through PRPs window for defining the route by picking route points on cableway branches. See Define Route Through Preliminary Route Points (PRPs).

    Modify Free point

    Modifies a free route point. for further information. See Modify Route Point.

    Modify Routing Status

    After a cable has been routed the dropdown menu allows you to manually change the routing status of the cable. See Modify Routing Status.

    UnRoute Cable

    Unroutes a cable and remove it from the 3D view without deleting it. See Unroute Cables.

    Delete Cable

    Displays the Delete Tasks window, from which a selected cable can be deleted. See Delete Cable.
