We have already seen how to change the number of containers on a tier when creating a simple bay definition. The same methodology can be used for a bay definition generated using the /AUTO qualifier since, once generated, the bay definitions are treated in exactly the same way.
The number of containers on a tiers can be changed using the following syntax:
BAY "newbay" SET TIER "2" 3
This command will set the number of containers on tier number "2" to 3.
Note:
If the bay definition has an odd number of rows, then only an odd number (or zero)
of containers on a tier can be specified. Similarly, if the bay has an even number
of rows, then only an even number of containers can be specified.
The number of containers on a tier can also be changed by using the N rows drop-downs on the Container Positions page, as described earlier.
