Creating Master Databases

All master databases (that is, normal multiwrite databases which are going to have extracts created from them) must be created at the Hub. They can be created before giving the make global command.

• Specify the database numbers for each database.

  For example:

  cr db pipe/pipe-a desi acc multiwrite dbno n fino n

  If fino is specified, then this will be used to define the filename, otherwise the database will be named using its dbno and extract number - default 1.
