Ellipse Dialog

Open the Ellipse dialog

• You can either:

  • Select the menu item LINE \ ELLIPSE....

  • Select the icon in the Lines toolbar.

  

On clicking the Ellipse button, the User creates an ellipse through one of three options: 2 Positions/Ratio/Angles, 2 Vertices/Ratio/Angles or Coordinates/Ratio/Angles.

For each, the User must enter the major to minor axis Ratio, Start Angle and End Angle. For the Coordinates/Ratio/Angles option the User explicitly enters the relevant coordinates, (U1, V1) and (U2, V2), for the ellipse center and major axis point respectively.
