The Loftbook function allows the user to generate a table of intersections between specified groups of orthogonal curves and 3D curves. The user can choose to intersect all curves of a particular type or curves on specific layers.
The output may be specified as a formatted report or as a simple text file. For a text file, the user can control the page width, number of lines per page and line spacing.
By using the Units/Axes dialog the user can control whether the Section curve identifiers are output as Station numbers, Frame numbers or X distances. X distances output within the body of the table are output as meters, millimeters, depending on the current units settings.
As an example, we will create a simple loftbook for the current datastore.
