AUTOSIZE Command

The AUTOSIZE command is typically:
AUTOSIZE
AUTOSIZE /150-A-3-Branch1
AUTOSIZE /Equipment-List
This command carries out the following operations:
-
The VIEW's IDLN (ID List Name) attribute is set to the name of the Design item or IDList element to be drawn (/150-A-3-Branch1 or /Equipment-List in our second and third examples).
-
The VIEW's THPO (Through Position) attribute is set to the World coordinates corresponding to the center of interest of the Design items to be drawn.
-
The VIEW's SIZE (View Rectangle Size) attribute is set to a value calculated such that the Design items to be drawn will fit within the View rectangle. The current values of the VIEW's DIR and VSCA attributes are used (these define the 'looking direction' and scale).
Note: The AUTOSIZE command only sets the IDLN attribute if it has not already been set. A second AUTOSIZE command will not change the IDLN (but the specified Design item or IDList will be used in the recalculation of the SIZE and THPO attributes). An AUTOSIZE command by itself will use the existing IDLN setting to recalculate SIZE and THPO.
