Element Tasks

The Furniture, Fittings and Fixtures - Element Tasks window allows the user to create new elements as well as perform maintenance of existing furniture, fitting and fixture elements such as deletion, copying and modification.

The list at the top of the window displays any existing elements that belong to the current storage area. If modification of one of these existing elements is required then it must be selected from the list before the operation can be carried out.

Modify an Existing Element

Modification of an existing element works in much the same way as the creation of a new object. The existing element will populate the modification window with values relating to its current state (that means, position, attributes ) and will allow the user to update any of these values accordingly.

Copy an Existing Element

This function will copy an existing element and create a new replica of the original object in the storage area. The new element will be displayed in the list on the window and can be modified to update its attributes after copying has completed.

Delete an Existing Element

• Clicking Delete > Element displays a Confirm message box to allow the user to cancel it.

  Upon confirmation the selected element will be deleted from the database and removed from the list on the window.
