Through the integration, you can import specifications from AVEVA Catalogue Manager to AVEVA Marine. As part of this, the SPCO elements are also imported.

Note: On account of a character limit imposed by the Dabacon database, the SPCO name must not exceed 50 characters.

The following information is imported for every specification:

  • Material Description

  • Component Weight

  • Pipe and Wall Thickness Data for Piping Specification

  • Data from Bolt Table for Bolt Specifications

  • Specifications

Important: Before importing bolts or specifications from AVEVA ERM, you must create a user defined attribute (UDA) by name MATERIAL_ID in the s81060 PDMS Attributes screen in AVEVA ERM for the import to be successful. An example is shown in the following image.

After importing the bolts or specifications, the UDA is displayed as attributes (Material_Id for SPCO elements and Material_Id1 for DTAB elements) in AVEVA Paragon.
