The Curve Intersection tab is used to calculate the intersection of two selected curves.
Use the Analyse Curve icon
-
Select the Analyse Curve icon,
.
-
Select the curve types and the particular curves for each type (Selected option), then click the Apply button.
The first dropdown list contains all curve types, the second contains only those curve types that have valid intersections with the first list. The Cursor option can be used to select the two curves to intersect, via the cursor on the graphics screen. If the curves intersect one another then the result will appear in the Output Window.
The Check All option allows the user to check the intersections of all curves of two types.
Curves which do not intersect will be reported in the Output Window.

The Girthing Curves tab is used to calculate the girths of selected curves between optional limits. Select the curve type from pulldown list, select the axis for the girth calculation by selecting one of the X, Y or Z Radio buttons. If it is required to specify the limits select the Lower and Upper check boxes and enter the values. The user may also specify only a lower or upper limit. Select the specific curves to be girthed then click the Apply button. The All check box is used to select all curves of a particular type.
If the Number checkbox is selected then the given number of points are generated at equidistance spacing along the specified portion of the curves and added to the Points Buffer, if enabled.
If the Spacing checkbox is selected then points are generated at the given spacing along
the specified portion of the curves and added to the Points Buffer, if enabled.
