Compatibility with other Versions

Marine Drafting is backwards compatible in such a way that drawings created in previous versions can be read and further processed. If such a drawing is later is stored it will however not be usable in older versions.

Note: The first version used in Marine Drafting is 8, which is the same as last version used in Tribon Drafting (a predecessor to Marine Drafting). Conversion of versions less than 8 (coming from Tribon Drafting) is not supported.
