Shell Plates

The area and the moment of the surface contained in one shell plate is calculated. Then the weight of the shell plate is calculated as the area multiplied by the plate thickness and the density. The coordinates of the mass center are the calculated moments divided by the area of the plate.

If the shell plate contains holes, they are not brought into the calculations.
