MDS Active Control Form

  • Last UpdatedJan 09, 2026

The MDS Active Control form enables the administrator to change the active state of all support types in the MDS catalogue. This controls whether the supports will be available for use on the project by the MDS designer.

  • Active: Ancillary included in selection lists.

  • Inactive: Ancillary excluded from selection lists.

Tabs along the top of the form allow the user to select support type and the grid below displays the corresponding supports. The active status for each support is shown by the colour of the first column, green for active and red for inactive. Multiple supports can be selected in the grid and the buttons below allow the user to Activate or Deactivate them respectively. If a single support is selected, the active status of individual bore sizes can also be set using the grid on the right-hand side of the form.

Changes made are only applied to the database when the Apply button is clicked. The Dismiss button closes the form. If changes have been made, but not applied, a window is displayed asking if the changes are to be applied before exiting.
