Typical examples of derived names are the names of all the parts that are extracted from a panel in the automatic part generation of AVEVA Marine. for example, a plate part extracted from the panel AA123-4 will get name AA123-4-1S or AA123-4-1P unless otherwise specified (see below) and the designer has no possibility to affect that.
