MDS Hangers using Hanger Manufacturers Design Interfaces

MDS Hangers may now also be created by interfacing with hanger manufacturers design software.

There are three such MDS Hanger design interfaces:

1. MDS to LICAD interface (Lisega GMBH hanger design software)

2. MDS to Witch Hanger interface (Carpenter & Paterson Ltd. hanger design software)

3. MDS to PSDesigner interface (Pipe Supports Ltd. hanger design software)

All three of the MDS interfaces work with the relevant manufacturers hanger component catalogues, supplied with the MDS software in the projects LIS (Lisega databases), CPL (Carpenter & Paterson databases) and PSL (Pipe Supports Ltd. databases).

The hanger design software belongs to each of the hanger manufacturers and is obtainable from each vendor.

Each manufacturer’s interface determines the hanger configurations that are available to the user, and not the MDS application. Hence there are no pre-defined MDS standard names available when using a MDS hanger manufacturers interface.
