Choice and Materials Lists

The MDS Compensation Materials form contains two lists, the first lists the different possible materials choices and the second lists the available materials.

To set a material choice, select the appropriate choice from the list of choices and then select the material for that choice from the materials list.

Duplicate choices are omitted from the material selection drop down list in Design.

The default choice is the material that is initially set when a compensation is created. It is not possible to remove the default choice.

The list of materials that can be assigned to a choice is populated from the MDS/PROP database and only the solid materials are available for selection.
