Edit Commands in Initial Design Surface

EDIT \ UNDO

If selected, the last operation is undone. The User may also click <Ctrl Z> to perform this action.

Most major commands generate a rollback event, these allow the User to undo commands where the results are not as desired. The User can roll back and forwards through all the stored events. The number of the event which has just been executed and the total number of events is shown in the status bar. The rollback history can be cleared in order to allow memory to be reused for further operations.

EDIT \ REDO

If selected the last operation is reapplied. The User may also click <Ctrl Y> to perform this action.

EDIT \ COPY

If selected, the User is prompted to interactively pick from one of the graphics views, the element to be copied. Automatically, a new unique ID is generated for the copied element.

Note:
Planar curves (sections, waterlines and buttocks) when copied will be stored as Clines.

EDIT \ DELETE

If selected, the User is prompted to interactively pick from one of the graphics views, the element to be deleted from the project.

EDIT \ REPEAT COMMAND

Repeats the last operation issued. (Alternatively click the F3 key.)

EDIT \ CURRENT LAYER...

Brings up the Layer dialog (see Current Layer) so that the current (working) layer can be set.

EDIT \ REPORT OPTIONS...

Allows the User to change which style of reporting is required.
