Freeboard Dialog - General Sheet.

You should enter a Title for the freeboard calculation run, select the Load Line Protocol and a freeboard type from the Tabular Freeboard drop-down lists. The Freeboard Length is entered in meters or feet.

The Deck line (units: mm or inches) is the difference between the height to the upper edge of the deck line and the least moulded (freeboard) depth +ve if to be added or -ve if to be subtracted from the freeboard.

The program will use the block coefficient at a draft corresponding to 85% of least moulded depth.

If the boxes next to the Block Coefficient, Waterplane area coefficient forward and Tonnes per cm (or Tons per inch) immersion edit boxes, are checked, then the program will calculate these values from the geometry definition. Otherwise the entered values are used.
