Detail Sketches

A true picture of the cross section of a joint between plates may be generated automatically (this is done via the menu function Planar > View > Detail > Seam of Hull Modelling). The detail sketch is evaluated in the position along a seam or outer contour, indicated by the user. The sketch is shown at scale 1:1.

No text and no dimensions are set automatically in the picture. However, it may be the basis for dimensioning, like all other pictures in a drawing. In butt joints in/between panels chamfer (if any) will be evaluated automatically. When such a detail view is recreated the automatically evaluated chamfer between panels will currently be lost.
