This file may be imported if you require their own regular wave drift coefficients. The file has the following fixed contents:
Record 1 |
TITLE |
Title of up to 72 alphanumeric characters. |
Record 2 |
NWVDIR NFREQR |
Number of wave directions - maximum of 19, number of frequencies - maximum of 20. |
Record 3 |
FREQR(JFREQR) |
NFREQ frequencies at which the coefficients are supplied |
Record 4 |
WVDIR |
Direction of waves relative to centreline of vessel. The wave drift data must range from 0 to 180 degrees, at an interval between 10 and 30 degrees, 0 head onto the vessel. |
Record 5 |
CXWVR(JFREQ), CYWVR(JREQ), CNWVR(JFREQ) |
NFREQ regular longitudinal and transverse wave drift force and yaw moment coefficients. |
Record 5 is repeated NFREQR times. |
Records 4 and 5 are repeated NWVDIR times. |
The regular wave drift coefficients are defined by: |

Transverse Force |

(4) |
Yaw Moment |
