Entering a Position value as a Boundary

An alternative method of specifying a boundary is possible by simply specify a position value (equates to a planar bulkhead/deck) for a compartment boundary.

This is envisaged to facilitate more rapid generation of small box shaped tanks. It must be noted however that with no topological link to an actual internal boundary, you will need to alter the position manually as required by any design modifications.

To enter a position, select from the drop down list the relevant option containing the text ‘-- Position’ and an edit field will appear for the value to be entered, see below.

Note:
The ‘-- Position’ option will also indicate if the current units are in frames, (fr), or stations (stn).
