This bevel type is a Y-joint with a varying connection angle defined for the nose, that is, the nose is supposed to be tightly connected. This is a variant of bevel type 39 where the NOSE that is calculated parallel to the connection surface.

Figure 1:48. Bevel type 139

Relevant parameters a, a2, DIFF, NOSE, GAP

Varying parameters: a, a2

a is defined as depending on the connection angle CON: a = -CON

a2 is defined as depending on the connection angle CON with a fixed angular offset: a2 = DIFF - CON

NOSE < 0 means that the height of the nose is defined as the distance from the upper surface of the plate, that means, the nose height is T -ABS( NOSE) (T is plate thickness).

If ABS(NOSE) = N (0<N<1) then the nose height will be calculated as NOSE = N * E (where E is the e-measure)

CON < 0:

The positive side should be turned upwards.

CON > 0:

The positive side should be turned downwards.
