To Change Projection of an Assembly Drawing View

Once you have created an Assembly Drawing an option is available that allows you to successfully change the projection of a view.

1. On the Assembly Drafting toolbar, click on the Find a Drawing button as shown below.

   

   The Assembly Drawing form will be displayed:

   

2. Click on the Search button and select the drawing you wish to edit.

   Note: When using Hull Drafting, you may have to refresh the display using the toolbar option.

3. For the selected drawing, right-mouse click and choose the Change Projection option. The Change the Look Direction form will be displayed:

   

   You will notice that the first suitable view will be highlighted in blue.

   Note: When using Hull Drafting, you may have to refresh the display.

4. To change the view to be edited, select the relevant one from the drop-down list as shown above.

5. To change the projection direction, click on the relevant button such as for direction Iso-2. The view and any labels will be changed.
