Pipe Clearance (MDSSUPPCL)

This value is overridden by the new MDS ancillary default values declared in the MDS PARAGON module defaults catalogue, that means, in the DATA members found in a typical MDS ancillary default DTSE element. For example, DTSE /MDS/ATTA/DEFAULTS/AT01/100/FRMW (see Framework Clearance Option, Closed End Clearance, Open End Clearance).

When a designer chooses to build a support using the Clearance option, this value is used to determine the clearance on both sides of the support attachment (see the example image below). For example, if the MDS ancillary default values are not found.
