Types of Holes

Holes may be of several different types:

• Standard holes, identified by a type (string) and followed by a number of parameters, separated by asterisks.

• Holes generated by reference to penetrating objects (like pipes, pillars, ventilation ducts). The geometry of such holes is generated depending on the geometry of the penetrating object.

• Finally, any close planar curved can be used as a hole ("arbitrary holes"), see Arbitrary Holes below.
