Developer's Toolkit Concepts

The Developer's Toolkit in AVEVA Marine only has legacy support for Vitesse and Data Extraction.

This means that no new functionality will be added and only certain parts of the toolkit are available.

The areas supported are Marine Drafting and Hull Design. For a more detailed view on which functions are supported please check the documentation for Vitesse and Data Extraction.

The Developer's Toolkit is a collection of tools, available for customers to develop their own application functions in AVEVA Marine. The toolkit offers an advanced customer with programming skills the possibility to customize functions in order to create an efficient and streamlined set of variants and new programs.

The Developer's Toolkit can be used to create new functions. Typical tasks a customer may want to achieve by using the Developer's Toolkit are:

• Extract data from the Product model and create interactive as well as printed reports.

• Create reports that are tailor-made for the customer's specific needs and that can be easily repeated for efficiency.

• Create drawings with a high level of automatics to meet the customer's standards for, for example, production purposes.

• Create and modify model data in an automatic and standardized way.

• Create new functions, complete with an interactive user interface, to perform frequent tasks according to the customer's standards.

• Integrating AVEVA Marine with other systems.
