Faceting Parameters

This dialog is used to set the individual faceter parameters of envelopes, surfaces, transverses, longitudinals, decks and compartments to be set. This allows the User to tailor the facets to better suite the unique geometries of particular objects. For an explanation of the faceter parameters see Options Dialog - Faceter Page.

The faceter parameters of an object can be used as a basis to be applied to other objects.

Create faceter parameters

1. You can either:

   • Select Pick and interactively select the object in a view.

   • Drag the required object from the tree view and drop it on the Pick button.

   The Document button is used to reset the dialog’s settings to the current document’s defaults. (These can be found on the Faceter page of the Options dialog, see Options Dialog - Faceter Page.)

2. Select Apply.

   The currently selected objects in the tree are refaceted according to the new parameters.
