Encoding of Multi-Byte Characters

  • Last UpdatedFeb 08, 2023

Multi-byte characters encoding (SHIFTJIS and EUC) are now handled automatically for AVEVA fonts. Japanese Kanji is always SHIFTJIS while other multi-byte character sets are always EUC. The existing EUC and SHI/FTJIS keywords are retained for backwards compatibility, but have no effect on the output.
