A note on the implementation of AVEVA Initial Design Calc

Some issues concerning the program and its implementation, are discussed in this section.

  • Security

    To run the program, you must have the AVEVA Marine security installed, and have a licence to run Initial Design Calc. If a Initial Design Calc license is not available, then the program will run, but key functions such as edit, calculate, and save, are disabled.

  • CalcX DLL

    The program uses the Calc calculation engine DLL (CalcX.dll).
