Get Structure within

Purpose

To get all hull steel structure that is inside or on the limits of a space and to generate a new temporary model that is exactly cut off at the space boundaries. The new temporary model can be displayed and used in calculations. The extracted model will not be permanently stored in the database when Save Work is done.

Prerequisites

Panels laying in the space boundaries should be located in the corresponding RSO to avoid tolerance issues when performing this operation.

Instructions

Pick a space or a space arrangement in the drawing.

Options

Use Option to switch between selection of individual spaces and complete arrangements.

Result

The extracted model from each space will be available within blocks with automatically generated names using the following syntax:
